Our Dogs are looking for someone like you

WAG (Welfare for Animals Guild) is a non-profit, dog rescue organization. We rescue dogs on Washington State’s Olympic Peninsula. We receive strays, some of which were living in despicable conditions, as well as many from dog owners who are no longer able to care for their dog. While we do receive some strays, many of our dogs come from dog owners who can no longer care for their dogs.  People with health issues, or are moving, or just the worsening economic conditions make up the majority of reasons why dogs are released to WAG.

WAG also works with the other  rescue groups and shelters when they need help placing their dogs. We are an all-volunteer organization. We do not have a central shelter.

We place the rescues in foster homes throughout the county. Having the dogs in a foster home environment helps us to really know each dog when it comes to matching it with the right adoptive family.

Please read more about us in Our Story above.

Thank you for stopping by.
